Reservoir Stogs

Reservoir Stogs is a Cornwall based five-piece band formed by musicians that met through the Monday night jam sessions at The Old Ale House in Truro. We play a broad range of crowd-pleasing music including funk, soul, rock, rock'n'roll and reggae, with dynamic energy and a lot of fun!

As a five piece band featuring two guitarists, keyboards, bass guitar and drums, three of which are singers, we deliver a big and engaging sound (but we can play at lower volumes if required!). We all have a great deal of experience playing in quality bands on the circuit, both locally and in London, except for young Jack on guitar, who is just annoyingly talented for one so young!

Over the last couple of years Reservoir Stogs has established a reputation as a highly entertaining band in mid and west Cornwall, playing regularly at many of the premium music pubs in Cornwall as well parties, rallies, fêtes and festivals. Repeat bookings and a stream of word of mouth recommendations are testament to the great impression we make wherever we play.

Equipment

We have a high quality Mackie and JBL PA system and great lighting; we all use top quality instruments and amplification for a great sound and light experience.

We don't use backing tracks!

Everything your hear will be us playing. This way we can keep things spontaneous and go with the flow. If the crowd want to sing along for an extra chorus etc., we'll be right there in the moment with them, or if we want to put in an unplanned segue to keep the vibe going, we're not tied to a pre-set backing track.
